For all intents and purposes, as far as TIBCO iProcess Engine is concerned, the Oracle Transparent Data Encryption functionality should be just as its name suggests “Transparent”.  We have not formally tested this configuration and do not have in house expertise with this configuration in Support or Development however we expect there will be a performance penalty for using TDE. 

If customers want to use Transparent Data Encryption (TDE) to encrypt the data on TIBCO iProcess Engine Schema, then they should test this in lower environments, using Production loads, before rolling it out onto Production servers.
