Description
When running automation service task(s) through Spotfire Analyst/Professional client, "Execute on server" option may be disabled for users.
Issue/Introduction
This article describes how to enable "Execute on server" option in Spotfire analyst to run Automation Services task(s)
Resolution
“Execute on Server” is enabled after adding the user to “Automation Services Users” group.
Role: Automation Services Users
Description: Membership in this group grants permission to execute Automation Services jobs on the server, using the Job Builder or the Client Job Sender.
