When using Webstatistica, is it possible to run a SVB script to initiate or work within a Microsoft Word session?
Issue/Introduction
Using COM, is it possible to run a Microsoft Word session from a SVB script?
Resolution
Microsoft Office, and its automation interface, were not designed for server-type environments and will exhibit various problems due to several context-specific issues (non-interactive sessions, user identity, reentrancy in concurrent access etc.).
