Description
The Spotfire analysis file that uses a Data Connector to query data which does not open. While the analysis file is loading data, you get a time out due to an SQL error condition. For example, this could be due to updates on the data source side and an increase in data has caused a SQL error. This article explains how to update the data connection.
Important: This is only possible if the Data Connection is saved in a Spotfire library.
Resolution
If the data connector is saved on the Spotfire library you can update the SQL:
- In a TIBCO Spotfire client go to Tools > Manage Data Connections.
- Navigate to your data connector saved in the library.
- Right click on the connector and select "Edit Data Connections...".
- In the new dialog, click the "Edit" button and correct the data connection accordingly.
