Description

iProcess Workspace (Windows) Client - Unable to open EAI_BW steps. Error displayed when opening an EAI_BW step:

The iProcess plug-in interface function <EAIWD_EditStep> in plug-in <eai_bw.eag> returned and unexpected value.

The client plug-in was unable to retrieve the step definition from the iProcess Server.



 

Environment

TIBCO iProcess Workspace Plug-ins 11.6.0 TIBCO iProcess Workspace (Windows) Client 11.6.0 Windows 7 64-bit

Resolution

 The client connects to the iProcess server defined in the configuration file CLIENT_DIR\jmsdb.properties

The file specifies the following properties:
    jmx_host - the name or IP address of the iProcess Server
    jmx_port - the port for the iProcess BusinessWorks Server Plug-in JMX Server
                    the port is defined on the iProcess server in the file SWDI/eaijava/jmxconfig.properties

The default values are:
    jmx_host= localhost
    jmx_port= 10021

The iProcess Workspace (Window) Client was used to connect to different iProcess Engine installations. The values in the jmsdb.properties file had to be updated to reflect the iProcess instance being used / accessed.
