Description:
The "Enable Local TERR Engine" option is no longer listed under Tools/Administration Manager for the "TIBCO Spotfire Advanced Analytics License".
Cause:
The original intent was to allow an Administrator to force data functions to run on the server, but now the Run Location can be set individually for each data function, so the option is no longer necessary as a distinct option. This option was removed beginning with Spotfire 6.5.
Resolution
Set the Run Location on each data function as desired using the "Run Location" list box (Default, Force Local, Force Server) for each data function in the "Edit > Data Function Properties > Register Data Functions > Run > Edit Parameters" dialog.
