The Microsoft Xamarin platform offers an improved development experience for mobile .NET applications over the traditional Visual Studio platform.  However, TIBCO only supports Visual Studio for .NET client development, as noted in the Help under StreamBase Home > API Guide > Developing Client Applications > Creating .NET Clients.  Since Xamarin is a subset of the full .NET framework, TIBCO cannot guarantee this subset is sufficient to properly work with the StreamBase .NET API.
