LDAP authetication fails when upgraded to SF 5.7.x from lower versions

Description
When the broker which uses LDAP for authentication is upgraded from 5.5.x to 5.7.x,the roles and users are correctly ported to the upgraded broker, but the authentication fails.
Resolution
This issue seems to have been a side effect of some of the LDAP related issues we fixed in 5.7.
In this case, once we re-enter the value for "LDAP Connect Timeout (milliseconds)" on the Authentication page and press "save" the LDAP auth started working.

Workaround to get the LDAP authentication working after the broker upgrade.
