By default, all the files under the '/work' directory on a Silver Fabric engine has world writeable permission. For example,

Resolution
If users do not want to have world writable permissions on all the files under this location due to security risk or any other reason, they can restrict the permissions by either manually changing the default permissions for all files under that location or automatically reset the permissions via a script.
