Resolution:
XCD users can subscribe to be notified whenever a particular asset is modified. Email is one channel for these notifications. In order for this channel to work, the address of a server running SMTP (e.g. sendmail, Domino, Exchange) must be specified. The name may be entered as either a fully qualified domain name (mail.example.com) or an IP address (192.168.0.2).
