Description:
According to the documentation, there is maximum time interval on the sever connection used to reconnect to the Gateway Host for the adapter. Once the interval is reached, the server connection pool will be suspended.
This indicates that the adapter can only reconnect to a SAP Gateway Host in a limited number of retry attempts. In fact, there is a way to unlimit the retry attempt number on the server connection.
Resolution
Set the "Maximum time between two startup attempts in case of failures (secs)" on the server connection configuration to -1.
