This solution explains how to debug BE engine startup issues and why statistics aren't showing in the BEMM GUI.

Look for the BE engine startup command from BEMM console which looks like the follwoing:

cygdrive/C/tibco/be/5.0/bin/be-engine --propFile C:/tibco/be/5.0/bin/be-engine.tra -n PUID_Cache -c C:/temp/fdcache.cdd -u cache C:/temp/fdcache.ear --propVar jmx_port=5555

Login to putty with the credentials defined in the siteTopology file and run the above command.

If the above command throws any exceptions, correct it and make sure the BE engine runs without any issues to ensure that the statistics show up in the BEMM GUI.
