Description:
When starting an TIBCO ActiveMatrix Adapter for Database instance, the following error is reported:
Startup Error. SDK Exception:
{Code = AESDKC-0118, Category = Component, Severity = errorRole, Description = Failed to open sink file: XXX
In TIBCO Designer, it will report an “Startup Error. SDK Exception:” error. If starting the TIBCO ActiveMatrix Adapter for Database instance from the command line, it will show the error detail in the logs.
Resolution
The TIBCO ActiveMatrix Adapter for Database instance does not have the permission to write to the log file directory specified. To solve the problem, give correct permission of the log file directory to the user who installed/runs the TIBCO ActiveMatrix Adapter for Database.
