The following supported environments have been added to TIBCO(R) Adapter for JDE OneWorld Xe 5.3.0 since its general availability.  Please refer to the attached amended readme the details regarding these additions.

TIBCO Runtime Agent(TM) (TRA) 5.8.x

TIBCO(R) Adapter for JDE OneWorld Xe 5.3.0 now supports TRA 5.8.x, in addition to the currently supported TRA versions listed in the product documentation. The only TRA features supported by the adapter are those included in the documentation for TIBCO(R) Adapter for JDE OneWorld Xe 5.3.0. Because TRA 5.8.x supports JRE 1.7, TIBCO(R) Adapter for JDE OneWorld Xe 5.3.0 now supports JRE 1.7.

Limitations and Restrictions:
For Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.x, TIBCO(R) Adapter for JDE OneWorld Xe 5.3.0 supports 32-bit and 64-bit TRA executables.
For all other support platforms, TIBCO(R) Adapter for JDE OneWorld Xe 5.3.0 supports 32-bit TRA executables on 32-bit Platforms only.
Please note that TRA 5.8.x supports JRE 1.7. Our ability to support TIBCO Adapter for JDE OneWorld Xe 5.3.0 with TRA 5.8.X may be limited if the JDE does not currently support JRE 1.7. Issues due to JRE 1.7 may need to be investigated with a TRA version that supports a JRE version supported by the vendor.

Configuration Changes:
Because DataDirect drivers are no longer shipped in TIBCO Runtime Agent 5.8.x, TIBCO Adapters should use vendor-supplied database drivers for design-time configuration and runtime implementation. Please refer to SOL1-BHBRDL for detailed configuration steps.
In order to run the adapter with the 64-bit TRA package (which uses the 64-bit JVM), a workaround must be implemented. For workaround details, see SOL1-C9RZZX: How to run adapters developed using TIBCO Adapter (R) SDK(Java) with 64-bit TIBCO Runtime Agent(TM) (TRA) 5.7.x and 5.8.x

Known Issues:
SOL1-EGXXWN - Installation error occurs when installing TRA 5.8.0 and RV 8.4.0 with TIBCO Adapters that are not bundled with universal installer.

Please note that a Security Advisory was announced on February 1, 2011 for TRA 5.7.0 (http://www.tibco.com/services/support/advisories/), so Support for TRA 5.7.0 has not been added to TIBCO(R) Adapter for JDE OneWorld Xe 5.3.0. For further inquires about Support for TRA 5.7.0, please contact TIBCO Support.

     TableList Conversion functions will cause an error. The following error message will show when trying to use this functionality: ??Error Occurred when retrieving Table Conversions schema: Error: null??

     Workaround - None.

     Cause -
     The XML returned by JDEdwards is missing a tag that is required for XML parsing. The returned string is not XML compliant.

     Resolution -
     1.  Apply the patch referenced by Oracle SAR 8384387 or greater.
