TIBCO BusinessEvents engine throws the error "TCPLink Error: invalid magic in the message" upon startup.

All Operating Systems
TIBCO BusinessEvents 3.x / 4.x release
TIBCO Enterprise Messaging Server (EMS) libraries co-existing with libraries from other third party JMS providers.


Symptoms:
=========

When starting TIBCO BusinessEvents engine, it throws the error "TCPLink Error: invalid magic in the message", and then the engine exits.


Cause:
=====

This issue is mainly encountered when TIBCO EMS libraries co-exist with the JMS client libraries from other third party JMS providers such as ActiveMQ.

Resolution:
=========

Make sure that the classpath variable in TRA does not cause the BE engine to clash with the JMS client libraries from other vendors.
