Resolution:
For any development activity (explained below) you need to purchase the required number of development licenses from IONA. For deploying the adapter with IONA's ORBacus, i.e., in a production environment or any test environment you, the end user, need to purchase the runtimes from IONA. Binaries are sold on per platform basis, and IONA provides support for them. Please visit the mentioned IONA web site for more information on obtaining a license.  Also, please the FAQ items in the "ORB Issues" and "Build Issues" categories.
