Resolution:
If you are seeing very high cpu utilization, check which version of the RTserver you are running. (rtserver_d.x or rtserver_o.x on UNIX; rtservero.exe or rtserverd.exe on Windows). If it is the debug version (rtserver_d.x or rtserverd.exe), then switch to the optimized version (rtserver_o.x or rtservero.exe).

Note: In SmartSockets 6.0r2 the default RTserver launched is the debug RTserver; (rtserver_d.x) and in SmartSockets 6.2r1, the default RTserver launched is the optimized RTserver (rtserver_o.x). In SmartSockets 6.2r1, to launch the debug version of RTserver:
   $rtserver -check
