Description:
An error occurs with the BusinessConnect SFTP plugin when starting the Interior Server:
"Error initializing installed 'GatewayServerFTPS' protocol, from 'GS-FTPS' plugin with Runtime extension 'com.tibco.ax.fw.runtime.impl.ftp.InteractiveFtpExtension' "
Symptoms:
When starting the Interior server Engine, exceptions related to the SFTP plugin appear in the logs. If executing a transaction using SFTP, an error occurs.
Cause:
Generally this error is an installation or configuration issue.
Resolution
1). Try to deactivate and activate the SFTP related protocol attributes under the Manage Installation section in the Administrator.
2). If step 1 does not resolve the issue, make sure that all of the BC machines added to this particular domain had the SFTP related plugin installed properly. Generally, this exception occurs when the SFTP plugin software is not installed on one of the machines.
