How to check ActiveSpaces product license and version information.
Resolution
There are a number of ways to check TIBCO product license and version information.
Finding license and version for installed TIBCO softwrare.
If you already installed TIBCO software at location <C:/TIBCO/> .
Go to <TIBCO_HOME>/release_notes folder.
This folder contains all TIBCO products installed in <TIBCO_HOME>. Each product will have two files, a license file and a readme file.
Example : TIBCO ActiveSpaces Enterprise Edition 2.1.2 and TIBCO ActiveSpaces Remote Client 2.1.2 installed in <TIBCO_HOME>
You will find TIB_activespaces_2.1.2_license.pdf file and TIB_activespaces_2.1.2_readme.txt.
Checking licenses: TIB_activespaces_2.1.2_license.pdf will have license details.
Checking version : TIB_activespaces_2.1.2_readme.txt readme file will start with the production version information. An example is shown below.

Finding license and version information by downloading but not installing TIBCO software.
Checking licenses: Download the TIBCO product and extract the zip file into any location. Go to the licenses folder for license information.
Checking version: Download the TIBCO product and extract the zip file into any location. In the root directory location you will find a read me file which starts with the production version information. Sample text is shown below.
