Description:
If you restart the TIBCO BusinessWorks (BW) engine and simultaneously login to TIBCO BusinessWorks ProcessMonitor (BWPM) GUI, and navigate to the Process diagram window, you may see Question mark(?) icon appear for activities. You may see all Question mark(?) icons for activities or for some of the activities. Refer to the attached screenshot (Filename:'QuestionMarksIssueProcessDiagram.jpg) showing Question Marks(?) in the Process Diagram.

Symptoms:
Question mark(?) icon appears for activities under Process Diagram window in the Main view of TIBCO BusinessWorks ProcessMonitor GUI. This issue can be seen for all activities or for some activities of the Process Diagram.

Cause:
Activity icon images are stored in a table called "NJAMS_T_IMAGES“. When an engine restarts, the TIBCO BusinessWorks ProcessMonitor (BWPM) plugin will read the icons from the BW installation and send it over to the server. If a user somehow manages to open a process diagram before the images have been sent for the very first time, the browser will show a placeholder icon. The browser will cache that icon for 24h before contacting the server again for the image.

 Firefox 21-28: press CTRL+SHIFT+DEL and confirm the dialog that appears.

 Internet Explorer 9, 10, 11: Click on Tools -> Developer Tools. In the window that opens click Cache -> Clear browser cache. Confirm the dialog.
