Resolution:
This behaviour is due to a missing BW path in the HTTPAgent_bw.tra. When working with BW version 2.x, please add the &ltBW installation>/lib/patches directory to the extended classpath before &ltBW Installation>/lib in the HTTPAgent_bw.tra file.
