Cause:

For Integration Object used by Siebel Adapter, its Base Object Type is set to “XML”, instead of “Siebel Business Object”.

Resolution:
==========
Go to Siebel end -> open Siebel Tools -> query for the Integration Object that you are using in your project for Siebel Adapter -> check the 'Base Object Type' property of the Integration Object. It should be 'Siebel Business Object'.
