Description:
Customers running TIBCO Object Service Broker for z/OS under z/OS 1.11 using TCP/IP may experience error conditions described by IBM’s Red Alert 2010.02.26, “All TCPIP Users on z/OS 1.11”. Object Service Broker for z/OS is an application which uses z/OS TCPIP ASYNCIO writes. As a result, customers can experience any of the error conditions described by IBM in the Red Alert.

Environment
Only applications running under z/OS 1.11 using TCP/IP communications are affected.

Symptoms
Symptoms may include z/OS abends, storage corruptions, hangs, incorrect output and other unpredictable failures.

Cause
Refer to IBM Red Alert 2010.02.26, “All TCPIP Users on z/OS 1.11".

Resolution
Take actions described by IBM Red Alert 2010.02.26, “All TCPIP Users on z/OS 1.11” (http://www14.software.ibm.com/webapp/set2/sas/f/redAlerts/20100226.html).

TIBCO recommends customers refrain from running the TIBCO Object Service Broker for z/OS in production on z/OS 1.11 until such time as a corrective service is made available by IBM.
