Resolution:
First try to use Sample JDB program to connect to BIGIP. If it fails, please notice the following:
It has been acknowledged by Oracle that BigIP(F5’s product) has inconsistent connection behavior with Siebel Servers.
We have logged a similar issue with Siebel Support before, and it not yet been solved. There are known inconsistent behaviors with BigIP and Siebel Server. These inconsistencies surround reconnection. This could affect load balancing as well.
