How to migrate from CIM 7.0 GDSN edition to CIM 8.0 MDM edition

Environment:

TIBCO Product name and version: TIBCO Collaborative Information Manager 8.x.x
Operating System(s): All Operating Systems

Resolution:
========
It is possible to migrate from CIM 7.0 GDSN edition to CIM 8.0 MDM edition. The steps to be followed are as follows:
1> Migrate/Change existing CIM 7.0 GDSN to CIM 7.0 MDM.
2> Then Migrate CIM 7.0 MDM to CIM 8.0 MDM.

How to migrate/change from CIM 7.0 GDSN to CIM 7.0 MDM:
Please follow the instructions outlined in section "Migrating Database to the MDM Edition" in release notes of CIM 7.0.
1> Execute the script: $MQ_HOME/db/oracle/migration/Migrate612_70/db_migration70_mdm.sql (Make sure you do not call db_migration70.sql)
2> Execute $MQ_HOME/bin/replaceRules.sh &ltfoldername> ruleslist.70.mdm.txt  (Let the folder name be $MQ_COMMONDIR/&ltEnterprise-Name>/rules)
3> Execute $MQ_HOME/bin/replaceRules.sh &ltfoldername>  ruleslist.70.mdm.txt (Let the folder name be $MQ_COMMONDIR/&ltstandard or enterprise-Name>/workflow)
