Description:
Configuring HTTPS communication between APIX-G and Target Services.

Resolution

Here are the steps to configure the HTTPS transport for a Target Operation:

1). Under the Target Operation tab, select Type as HTTPS .

2). Set the value for the field "Is Anonymous" as:


-- false:- if client authentication is enabled on the Target Service(2-way SSL).
-- true:-  if client authentication is not enabled on the Target Service(one-way SSL).

3). Using either the New Property File or the Existing Property File, select the appropriate property file.

The Attached are sample files for reference:

"req_https.properties" for one-way SSL.
"req_https_2way.properties" for 2-way SSL.
