Resolution:
To start RVD as a Windows service with the -logfile option, add the “-logfile” flag to the “Start Parameters” box, as follows:
Start -> Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Services -> double click ”TIB Rendezvous Communications Daemon” -> edit the box for “Start Parameters” and add “-logfile <filename>” and any other parameters you desired (e.g., -listen <port> -http <port>) to your existing startup command.
