The values specified for ‘Partner Serial Number’ and ‘Partner Issuer CA’ when defining a partner depend on how the client is authenticated.

TIBCO ActiveMatrix® Service Gateway 1.2.0

To find out the appropriate values for a client do the following:

- Setup authentication on ASG/Apache side.

- Have the client send a request with proper credentials.

- Upon successful authentication a log message similar to the one below is printed in the ASG engine log:

   2013 Oct 02 14:30:26:991 GMT -4 asg-caching-core Info [$default.be.mt$.Thread.4] - [user] [core-class] WARN: Certificate not found for       SerialNumber xxx CAIssuer xxx

When defining a partner for this client set ‘Partner Serial Number’ to the SerialNumber value and ‘Partner Issuer CA’ to the CAIssuer value seen in the log.
