Symptoms
========
Administrator server first starts ok, but as soon as a user logs in, the server throws exceptions. The server may crash, or if you killed it, you cannot bring it back up again.

Impact
======
Loss of Functionality

Workaround
==========
Turn off the JIT compiler in TIBCO Administrator's runtime configuration template file before creating any given TIBCO Administrator domain. Please look at the attached MS Word document for details.

Cause
=====
This is a defect with IBM's JDK 1.4.0 that results in corruption of the TIBCO Administrator domain configuration.

Resolution
==========
IBM's JDK 1.4.1 has fixed this problem, and you need to download this new version of JDK 1.4.1 (make sure it is released on 09/30/2003 or later). Please look at the attached MS Word document for configuration details. You are also required to apply hotfix 2 for both Administrator and TRA.
