While installing TIBCO ActiveMatrix® Adapter for Files for Unix/Win on RedHat Linux 6.x (64-bit), the following error is thrown: "The installer is unable to run in graphical mode".
Symptoms:
The following error is thrown while installing TIBCO ActiveMatrix® Adapter for Files for Unix/Win on RedHat Linux 6.x(64-bit): "The installer is unable to run in graphical mode. Try running the installer with the -console or -silent flag".
Cause:
TIBCO ActiveMatrix® Adapter for Files for Unix/Win requires both 32-bit and 64-bit packages for installation on Linux 6.x (64-bit) . If the library packages are missing, the error is thrown.
Resolution
TIBCO ActiveMatrix® Adapter for Files for Unix/Win requires the following 32-bit and 64-bit packages.
Required Packages( (libXau, libxcb, libXext, libX11, libXp, libICE, libuuid, libSM, libXt, libXmu, libXi, libXts, libXrender, freetype, expat, fontconfig, libXft, compat-libstdc++).
If the packages are not installed then install the above required packages for both 32-bit and 64-bit and then try installing TIBCO ActiveMatrix® Adapter for Files for Unix/Win on RedHat Linux 6.x (64-bit).
