The following error is seen when adding EMS Server to Administrator domain using Domainutilitycmd :

Environment:

TIBCO Runtime Agent (TRA) 5.x.x
TIBCO Administrator 5.x.x
TIBCO Enterprise Message Service (EMS) 4.x.x / 5.x.x

Symptoms:
========

Domainutilitycmd fails with the following error while trying to add EMS Server to Administrator domain:

Validation Failed: Software executable wasnt found in the specified path.
Operation Failed.  Please view the log for more details.


Cause:
=====

If the domain hawkagent is not running then the domainutilitycmd is not able to verify / retreive EMS installation details. As a result it fails with the above mentioned error.

Resolution:
==========

To resolve this issue:

1). Make sure the EMS executable path is correct in the AddJMSServer.xml file.
2). Check if the domain hawkagent is running.
