When SmartSockets 6.8.2 was released, Windows 7 and Windows 2008 were not available so they are not listed in the README documentation under "Supported Platforms". The product has since been tested on these OS versions and SmartSockets 6.8.2 supports Windows 2008 Server and Windows 7 .
