Description:
TIBCO Adapter for Siebel 5.3.1 now supports Siebel 8.1.1 for SIA and SEA in addition to the currently supported platforms listed in the product documentation.

Please note that any new features or functionality available in Siebel 8.1.1 for SIA and SEA are not necessarily supported by TIBCO Adapter for Siebel 5.3.1. Please contact Support if there are any questions regarding whether a certain feature is supported by TIBCO Adapter for Siebel 5.3.1.

TIBCO Adapter for Siebel 5.3.1 supports Siebel 8.1.1 for SIA and SEA on the following platforms:

Windows 2003 Server
AIX 5.3
Solaris 10
HP-UX 11i v2 for Itanium
Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4.0

The Siebel Adapter is a 32-bit adapter that can run on 32 bit (Windows, Red Hat Enterprise Linux on x86) or 64 bit hardware (AIX on POWER, Solaris on SPARC, HP-UX on Itanium). It can operate with 32 bit JVM/TRA or 64 bit TRA/JVM when the special configuration steps as documented in TRA are followed.
