We can change settings in a cdd file by changing location including a new cdd file with the settings that we want. By default, the cdd files are picked up from the ear and not from $AF_HOME/config. The cdd files in $AF_HOME/config are not used by the configurator.We have to change location of cdd file.

Resolution:

The location of the cdd file can be canged by:

1). From administrator (this will be post deployment task).

2).Changing the value of variable AFRE_CDD and point to the cdd file you want to use.
    -You can change AFRE_CDD from configurator GUI.
    -Manually chaging AFRE_CDD in:
    $AF_HOME/configurator/properties folder
        -orchcache.properties
        -ocv.properties
        -orchagent.properties
        -aopd.properties
        -cache.properties
    
    $AF_HOME/config folder
       -ConfigValues_AOPD.xml
       -ConfigValues_OCVC.xml            
       -ConfigValues_AFOC.xml              
       -ConfigValues_AFOA.xml                
       -ConfigValues_OCVI.xml
