Symptoms:

Startup command:

\tibco\be\5.1\bin\be-engine --propFile \tibco\be\5.1\bin\be-engine.tra -u default -c /Users/bashth01/BookworkspacePOC/BookModernization/Deployments/default.cdd BookModernization.ear.  

results in the "Failed to create adjustment process" error.

Resolution:
========
On the command line, use   be-engine.exe   instead of   be-engine  .
