Description

Resolution:
When the "Monitoring Console" is not showing in the admin GUI, a workaround is to backup the .mar files and rulebase files, delete the plugin, readd the plugin, and then create a new monitoring application, and then deploy the monitoring configuration. More details can be found in Chapter 4 Monitoring Console in the document of "TIBCO Hawk Plug-in For TIBCO Administrator" [ref1] and "Chapter 4 Monitoring with Rulebases in TIBCO Hawk Administrator’s Guide" [ref2]. The following is a brief overview:



1. please follow [ref2] to save all Rulebases into files, and then follow [ref1] to create a mar file.

2. go to  the admin GUI, then ApplicationManagement-&gtAll Service Instance -> &ltmachine name>- TIBCO Administrator -> Plug-Ins, then try to find the plugin of "Monitoring Console". Delete it, and then readd it from monitoringconsole.war which is under Hawk_HOME\admin-plugins. If it is not found, please add it directly.

3. restart the Admin server along with hawk and it should be shown over there.

4. Follow [ref1] to create monitor application

5. Follow [ref1] use the "Deploy on Save" option to deploy the contained monitoring configurations
