Resolution:
TIBCO adapter for Siebel v 5.x uses Siebel Java Data bean for interfacing. i.e. adapter creates Siebel JDB session with the Object Manager. Please note the both Siebel Server and the Java Bean jars versions should be same.

For the run time connection between Siebel Server and adapter, the EAI TIBCO HTTP Agent Business Service must be imported into Siebel Tools (not required for design time connection.). Once the Business Service is imported into Siebel Tools and the Siebel Repository file (srf) is regenerated, it can be accessed by Siebel eScript or VBscript code or can be called from Siebel workflow processes.
