Resolution:
With DB based domain, when customer changes the database password through domainutility, although the password is correct and domainutility says "Successfully Updated Database Parameters", but in the domainutility console output, there is such error "ORA-01017 invalid username/password; logon denied"
Workaround:
Change the database password for the application domains in the "Applicaton Domain" of Admin GUI , then change the database password through domainutility.
