Description:
Symptoms
========
The adapter core dumps on HP-UX with :
1. Fault , Core dump (Bus Error)
2. The error occurs after initialising the RV dispatchers
3. This scenario is very common when the hawk agent and admin are also running


Impact
======
Loss of Functionality
The adapter cannot be initialised, unless the stack size for the threads is increased.

Workaround
==========
The fix  is  available as  Hotfix3 for 5.1.0. Please contact Teradata Adapter Support for the fix.

Cause
=====
The threads initialised require a stack size of approximately 1024000 on HP. The default stack size is far less than that.

Resolution
==========
This has been fixed in the Hotfix3  of 5.1.0 release. Refer to the LBN -LBN1-39P36E for more details
