Description
Resolution:
a) In transaction SM59 select the destination, and the tab "Special Options";
b) In section "Character Width in Target System" select "1 Byte (non Unicode)", set "MDMP Setting" to active, and click on the Details icon (this performs an RFC to the destination system in order to obtain its code page and language configuration, hence the destination must already be usable for RFC logon); if you leave the MDMP Setting at "inactive", default code pages are used
c) This will take you to the MDMP Code Page Maintenance window for the languages and code pages used in the RFC destination system; click on the Information icon for further help.
