Environment:
===========
TIBCO BusinessEvents 5.x
All
Symptoms :
===========
Decision Table conditions not being evaluated after importing from Excel spread sheet.
Cause :
===========
Excel Spreadsheet is locking cells which when importing into Decision Tables and is causing the cell to be disabled. The condition never gets evaluated.
Resolution:
===========
While the Decision Table is exported, its cells must have been marked with enabled=false or once the Decision Table was exported, the cells in Excel were somehow locked.
Steps to follow :
1). Import the project and open in studio.
2). Open any xls file from the folder structure.
3). Select all cells -> Format cells ->Protection ->Uncheck the Locked button
4). Import the Excel file (exported at #3) with VRF .
5). Open the newly imported DT, no column data should be disabled or locked.
6). The physical file should not have any disabled (enabled=false) conditions. (you can verify from the XML as mentioned before).
