Description
Resolution:
The adapter agent works as a COM server that serves the requests coming from Siebel when a Siebel event is triggered. The agent then publishes out the business event to the adapter server Publisher.
The COM Publishing Agent component is not available in 5.x versions of the Adapter. The Siebel Application can directly send the HTTP Requests to the Adapter.
