The "Unexpected reply received" error can occur because of mismatch between the reply schema of the adapter and the schema of the reply message received by the adapter. This mismatch may be in terms of structure of the reply message or data type mismatch of individual elements in the structure.
If you have mapped the closure and userClosure fields in the reply, this error is thrown because the 'closure' and 'userClosure' fields in the reply message have not been populated properly in BW's 'Respond to Adapter' palette.

1) Check if the schema received by the adapter matches the reply schema. Refresh the schema of the Adapter service and BW process to remove any mismatch.
2) Check the data being received in the reply. Correct any invalid data being sent to Adapter.In case you have Fixed N.0 fields in the reply, please refer to LBN1-9UI8F1 to resolve the error.
3) If you have mapped the Closure and UserClosure fields in the reply, please ensure that you have followed the steps mentioned in the attached closure.doc.
