ERROR: Configuration error:....ignoring duplicate topic.....

The following could be attributable to the error:

1). There are two entries for the same topic in the topics.conf file.

2). The  EMS FT pair have separate copies of the topics.conf file. One has the topic already created which is in standby mode, the other which is active does not have the topic in the topics.conf file. Create that topic in the active server and then make EMS failover. Other EMS servers will receive the above error.

3). Monitor topics defined as static destination in topics.conf file. Refer to the section
“Monitoring Server Events” in the TIBCO Enterprise Message Service" guide.

Monitor topics are created and maintained by the server. Monitor topics are not listed in the topics.conf file. Users can subscribe to monitor topics but cannot create them.
