HIPAA EDI-X12 documents that previously processed without error start throwing validation errors after the EDI-X12 and/or the HIPAA protocol installation is upgraded to a newer release.  The validation errors look similar to the following:

"Cannot interpret script SysOnBeginNode_1717. Error details: TypeError 1607: Variable ECCheck782_2 is undefined. ! -0019: Error near [Inline code]:11 [SysOnBeginNode_1717()]. "

The External CodeLists are configured incorrectly.  Running the scripts UpdateStandardsList and UpdateCodeListRegistry on all BC servers will correct the issue.  These scripts are located in the $BC_HOME/protocols/edi/tools directory in the appropriately named subdirectory.
