Resolution:
Java 1.4 is out of support from Sun. The EMS 5.x jar does not support java 1.4. It requires a minimum of java 1.5.
The EMS 5.x clients require JDK 1.5, there are no 5.x clients compiled with an earlier version of java and we have no plans to do so.
In order to use the 5.1.2 libraries, please upgrade your java environment.
