Resolution:
If an error is returned to VB
when it calls the GetObject function, VB doesn't print the error text in the
dialog box it displays. It's a shortcoming in VB.
That's why the COM Adapter writes error messages to the EventLog. Whenever
VB displays an "automation error" as a result of calling GetObject, the
first thing you should do is look in the EventLog. You should find the whole
text of the error message there.
