The following supported environments have been added to TIBCO® Adapter for LDAP 5.4.1 since the GA. Please refer to the attached amended readme for details regarding these additions.

Please note that any new features or functionality available in these additional environments are not necessarily supported by TIBCO® Adapter for LDAP 5.4.1. Please contact Support if there are any questions regarding whether a certain feature is supported by TIBCO® Adapter for LDAP 5.4.1.

Limitations and Restrictions:

Please refer to the TRA 5.6.2 documentation for supported versions of TIBCO Administrator (see LBN1-9DNP7O)

TIBCO® Adapter for LDAP 5.4.1 is supported with either 32-bit or 64-bit TRA packages.

TIBCO® Adapter for LDAP 5.4.1 supports JRE 1.5 and JRE 1.6 with TRA 5.6.2.


Known Issues:

LBN1-9UAIXK - Adapters developed using TIBCO Adapter SDK fails to start with 64-bit TRA 5.6.2


Configuration Changes:

Please note that JRE 1.6 is bundled with TRA 5.6.2.  Please refer to the Migration and Compatibility section of the TIBCO Runtime Agent(TM) Release Notes Software Release 5.6.2 for details on using the TRA Upgrade Manager utility to upgrade to JRE 1.6

TIBCO Runtime Agent (TRA) 5.7.1 or higher 5.7.x

Limitations and Restrictions:

Please note that a Security Advisory was announced on February 1, 2011 for TRA 5.7.0 (http://www.tibco.com/services/support/advisories/), so Support for TRA 5.7.0 has not been added to TIBCO® Adapter for LDAP 5.4.1. For further inquires about Support for TRA 5.7.0, please contact TIBCO Support.

For Solaris platforms, TIBCO® Adapter for LDAP 5.4.1 is a 32-bit executable that can be run on 32-bit and 64-bit Platforms. On 32-bit Solaris platforms, the 32-bit TRA executable should be used. On 64-bit Solaris Platforms, either the 32-bit or 64-bit TRA executable can be used.

Configuration Changes:

Because DataDirect drivers are no longer shipped in TIBCO Runtime Agent 5.7.1 or higher 5.7.x, TIBCO Adapters should use vendor-supplied database drivers for design-time configuration and runtime implementation. Please refer to SOL1-BHBRDL for detailed configuration steps.
