Resolution:
Upgrading to Java 1.7.0_45 or greater is not recommended for iProcess Analytics 5.1.0. The Java security model changed in Java 1.7.0_45 which will result in the following error message,  "Missing required Permissions manifest attribute in main jar ppmclient.jar". This stops users logging in to the iProcess Analytics Client. This is resolved in iProcess Analytics 5.1.1.

Upgrade to TIBCO iProcess Analytics 5.1.1, and use the same Java version throughout:

- The Java version on the client workstation and PPM server must be identical  (either 1.6 or 1.7.)

- If you are using a browser client (applet mechanism) then the PPM version the browser is using must match the PPM server version  

- If you are using an installed PPM GUI on client workstations then the PPM server must use the same Java version as the PPM GUI is installed with.
