Your trading partner complains that some (not all) AS2 messages received from BusinessConnect fail with their application.  Their application indicates the following error:

java.security.SignatureException: SignerInfo does not exist. Wrong index.
                at iaik.pkcs.pkcs7.SignedDataStream.verify(Unknown Source)
                at iaik.security.smime.SMimeSigned.verify(Unknown Source)

Cause:
=====
This was a known defect in earlier version of the Java Virtual Machine.  JRE 1.5 and above (which BusinessConnect 5.X uses) does not have this issue.  It is possible that the trading partner is using an old version (pre JRE 1.5) of the JVM with their application.

Have your trading partner check and upgrade their application's JVM if it is pre JRE 1.5.
